    Hi People!!
    I Have PIONEER DV 989AVI player which is region 2 player but I need it to be playable for region 1,too.I must admit that I don't know anything about hacking players and remote controllers so if you can help me I will be very thankful to you. I also don't know anything about ccf files and software,so I will need simple explanations if possible.

    1) Please don't shout. Writing in upper case equals shouting.
    2) Take a look at the DVD Hacks section left. Try the hacks you may find. They may or may not work. There may not be a hack listed - then continue with a Google search.
    Still no luck? Well, just backup your wrong region disk to DVD-R, and you'll have a region free disk.
