Hi! a newbie here. I just D/L SDP and read the directions. I am trying to convert an asx file to a mpg or mpeg file. I press Open, then paste url (http),OK. Some info appears, then a pop up asks me where to save file. I answer. Some more info appears, the last line is"URL list now has data, please select an enry". There is nothing in the instructions that mentions this and I have no idea what I need to enter after the cursor. I have tried ignoring it and continuing by pressing Go. A save window opens and a red line of type appears on the next line. It says:TTCPocket connect failed: 10061. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? What entry do I select? I looked online for a forum sponsered by SDP and found nothing. your forum appeared several times and thought I would try you out. I hope you can help! THANKS! kirboy

Never heard of it, but - A URL should not be needed to convert a file that exists on your hard drive. To capture a streaming video, yes but I did not think you were asking that question?
The error you get indicates a failure to connect on a particular port, this again appears to be a streaming video issue.
Such captures may be a violation of forum rules here, though there are many sites which offer free video and you do not need to mention which one you are using.
But are you converting an existing file or capturing a streaming download?
