hi today i recieved the AVT-8710 tbc, i connected it to my video, it lighted up as it powered up but i don't know if i have connected up right because its not making a difference on my picture

i have connected the tbc through a yellow rca wire through video out
in the tbc and input on the vcr, but nothing is happening it hasn't made any difference i tried to make it bright and nothing happened so i don't know if i have connected it up properly.

i have also connected the canopus 55 to the vcr because without it can't get any picture.
i find the instruction mannual useless

    please reply asap

  2. Hmmm...

Presumeing you want to use it between the VCR and a capture device then.........

The Video out on the VCR goes to the Video in on the TBC. Then the video out on the TBC goe to the video in on the capture device.

If I'm reading what you said you have the video out on the TBC to the video in one the VCR which you would only do if you wanted to put video through it to record in the VCR.

    Cheers

hi first of all thanks for replying to the post im very greatful

thats right how i set it up before
but i will tyry what you just said and let you know how i get on, i want to capture video footage, im using pinnacle liquid edition 6 because canopus is compatible with many different edit suites, but when i purchased it i noticed jittering and i was very upset i whole reason i bought canopus 55 was to prevent the jittering at the time i did not know that a tbc existed
so then i bought one and i want it to prevent the jittering.

i will try now and get back to you

    thanks again

  6. Someone else will have to help you. I have no idea about exchangeable scart?

But it seems your video has no video out? That would be really strange. When you say Video you mean the source?
