    Hello,

    Does anyone know if it's possible to play DVD+R DL media in the Sony DVP-S500D? Also, I heard that changing the Book Type when burning might help with this issue.

    I don't have any DL media on me and would like to find out if it's worth spending the money. This will be for home movies that I'm editing. If it doesn't recognize the media then I will have to use regular DVD +/-R's and edit some things out to fit.

    Its verbatim dvd-r dl you should use if you dont want issues with dl media .
