  2. There is no direct way that I am aware of to export from PowerPoint to VCD format.
However, you can create a VCD slideshow from your PowerPoint slides. In PowerPoint select Export to JPEG images which will save each slide as a JPEG image. Then go into a VCD authoring program that supports VCD slideshow (Nero, Ulead DVD PictureShow, XatShow, etc). Use the JPEG images as the source files for your VCD slideshow. You will lose your PowerPoint transitions and other effects but you can add a soundtrack if desired. VCD slideshow images are limited to 704x480 and TV resolution is not sharp compared to a PC monitor so text may look blurry. Avoid using small fonts in your PowerPoint slides.
In the Mac version of PowerPoint you can directly export from PowerPoint to a QuickTime movie. Then convert from QuickTime to MPEG and use that to author a regular VCD or SVCD. This would not be a VCD slideshow but would be a VCD movie of your PowerPoint presentation. Standard VCD resolution is only 352x240 so small text will look really blurry on TV. SVCD and XVCD would be somewhat better in this regard.
    Hope that is helpful.

  3. Or you can use a capture program, and you can capture the all powerpoint presentation in AVI format. And after is easy, you only have to convert to VCD/SVCD with the help coming from this forum.
