    this is my new DVD player!
    Will it serve me well as far as reading VCD's,SVCD's and CD-R's goes?

    well I have the 333 model which is last years model and it pays everything I throw at it. I have heard there is a max bitrate of 2500 that it will support but I cant confirm that as I usually do around 2200. I have had this player since january and have been very happy with it
