I need to create an advertising video or several of them for a customer. The video will show all the day's specials and sales in the store so I need to know what software i can use to place a logo and what other software to use to create spinning letters and numbers into place and such forth. Can anyone please help? Thanks in advance.

What video software do you have now?

Am I to understand this guy hired you and you have no experience doing advertising or video?

Big issue is how much can you spend?

I currently have Adobe Premier Creative Suite CS3

He didn't hire me but he is giving me the chance to prove myself and allowing me to earn a bit more cash on the side. As for the finance I have no limits on the spending as I will charge it on the business card. Last week I bought the $5,000 scenarist program

$5000? you can easily do that with EditSudio, im still using EditStudio4 and that can be easily acomplished using it. Its very easy to do and they have a nice forum where you can ask other EditStudio users for help, and you can find free effects and transitions on the forum made by the users.
I love it when a plan comes together!

You have all the software you need in Adobe Premier Creative Suite CS3. Now get to work.
You might want to invest in these.

Why did you buy Scenarist ? That was an odd purchase?

the scenarist could have been a better choice but now it is too late unfortunately, the program was needed to make dvds.
