Hello all im Dante and my friend recommended this site to me on converting tips etc. I created the Maple Revolution series and im currently looking for better ways to convert the quality using adobe premiere pro 2.0 and tmpgenc (never used tmpgence either my friend recommended that also) Im trying to get good quality after i create it in premiere pro. I was told to use the project preset hd and certain customizable settings but I dont really know what bitrate or aspect ratio really is or does. If you could help point me in the direction of what im trying to do. Friend told me he uses 1080x1920 and an aspect ratio of 16:9 or such then exports it uncompressed from premiere pro 2.0 then compresses it useing settings on tmpgenc. I guess i might be confussing a bit but maybe i just need to know what the settings of aspect ratio and bitrate are more of so i can customize my own settings.

You mean the "Maple Revolution" series on YouTube?
Why do you need higher resolution? Life beyond YouTube?
What is the distribution goal for this project? -
Well it will be distributed to more than just youtube. one example is newgrounds but thats all in swf and im hear to learn about compression settings, bit rate, aspiect ratio and everything i can about those things

You are operating in a specialized flash world. 720x480, 1280x720 or 1920x1080 would be good for TV production but is excessively large for most flash projects.Originally Posted by Dante016

As far as flash im fine but this is what i mean right here I can export at 1920x1080 standard hd and then compress it but i need to know a codec that would open that. Also this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40sELiWjAt4 watch how in the fight scene it becomes all pixelated. Is there any certain compressing that i can do to just get it there without it become pixelated (that was done in standard ntsc not hd or anything)Originally Posted by edDV
