Well, I'm getting very close to getting my dream desktop. It's not as fancy as other people may like but it suits my needs ... and only costs $721 (plus shipping, no monitor). And so far, reviews of the builder seem to be good:

But, before I order, I just wanted to see if anyone here has ever dealt with them before and has an opinion on their services.
P.S. BTW, I just stumbled upon this website today. If a person doesn't mind an older system made from spare parts ... and doesn't mind Linux ... anyone in the Portland, Oregon area can get a "free" computer:

Click on the "Build Computers" link in the left column to see how to qualify. Basically, you have to attend workshops (free) to learn how to build a system ... and then you have to agree to build six systems. You then keep the 6th system for personal use (again, free). While I certainly wouldn't have much use for one of these obsolete systems, I wouldn't mind going to school for free (grin) to learn how to properly build one. Hmmm ... my landlady probably wouldn't mind a free computer (grin).

Just now came across this site and forum...and am curious as to whether you ended up dealing with Georgia Computer Workshop?
I've done business with them and will continue to do so, as I was 100% pleased with their extensive product line, recommendations based on my needs...and quick and courteous service.
I ordered an Intel motherboard and processor w/memory installed (already had a soundcard, modem and hard drive, purchased before I found GWC) and have since ordered a video card from them. -
dosnt have many reviews at resellerratings. i hope its not a "renamed" monarch computer which is also located in GA. (Tucker, Ga.) i ordered from them a few years ago, they had nothing but good reviews. i had no complaints with my order from them. i was going to use them again and found out they went belly-up one day. They have since closed up shop leaving behind many unhappy customers.
