A few weeks ago, I posted a query about a 22" wide LCD monitor which native resolution not being properly recognized by my own PC. I cannot find a correct driver so I let my son have the 22" and I got his 19." Everything seems okay afterwards. Or so I thought.
My son has Vista Premium installed in his PC. But he has this occassional busy hard drive that slows down things (this problem is in another thread also). So I suggested to dual boot it with XP Home so he will have an alternative OS, just in case. Both Vista and XP Home properly recognized the native resolution of 1680x1050 of the 22" so the driver is correct. Problem - when booting to XP, the display, especially the text, is blurry. Display is set to highest 32-bit and clear-type. Any idea what causing it? Vista display is perfect. Just do not know what the problem with XP. Video adapter is Nvidia 8800.
