Black want to be Purple all of a sudden IN Tmpeg 2.5

Hi, I have been making VCDs for about 3 month with fine sucess.
All of a sudden I noticed my movies have alot of Purple in them and it is splotchy all over then POOF everything is clear the Purple again.

I have tried these 2 templates with the same results
VideoCD (NTSC).mcf

Video-CD NTSC (MPEG-1 352x240 29.97fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)

TIbrO VideoCD (NTSC).mcf
Video-CD NTSC (MPEG-1 352x240 29.97fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)

Any help would be appriciated.

i got rid of the purple stuff like so =got to
option/environmental setting/vfapi pluging=then put the priority
of the direct show multimedia file reader to 2 or more and let the others at 0,if still works weird put the priority to 5.
