I have a large file (4.5 gig) that I moved from my TIVO to my desktop. I have stripped the TIVO container using Direct Show Dump and now have an MPG2 file but DVDAuthor says it's a 480X480 file and won't accept it for authoring. I tried loading it into Sony Vegas to re-render to 720X480 but cannot get past 23% and the program freezes.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

I would try one of the following
1. Author it as a non-standard DVD using the demo of DVD Lab Pro. It may not play in all players, but you may get lucky.
2. Use DGIndex and avisynth to resize, and HCEnc to re-encode to DVD standard resolution, then authorRead my blog here.

Thanks Guns. I will give it a try.
Am I to expect that all content coming off my TIVO will come over at 480X480?
