  1. Hi!
I want to create menu where there are 2 cells,
the first will have a motion background (as a preview),
the second will be still picture.
so i imported my clip to assets window, and draged it to first cell as a background,
then i draged a still picture to the second cell along with few buttons.

the problem is when i render the first cell's motion - all the items from the second cell disappear!

any ideas on how to do it right?

    any help appreciated!

I don't believe you can mix motion and stills in the same menu, even with multiple cells. What I do is render a longer video, with the last couple of seconds as a still image. I then create a delayed (multi-cell) motion menu, with the second cell covering the still portion and set to loop. The menu plays through the first cell, then loops around the second in what appears, to the user, to be a still image.

well, that sounds like a great idea!
how do you add couple of seconds as a still image to a video clip?

I create all my motion menu clips in Vegas, so I just grab the last frame and stretch it as a still for however long I need (usually defined by the audio that is to go with it). Any NLE should be able to do this.
