  1. Hi,

I'd like to convert some flv files to divx to play them on a portable player but I'd like to apply some filters with avisynth or virtualdub.

The problem is that these files cannot be open by avisynth or virtualdub. I've tried with flv extract but vdub says the flv1 codec is missing and I don't want to install the crappy stuff of ffdshow.

there are lot of online converters but to convert them to an exploitable avi (divx) they recompress the file

Is there a plugin (like dgdecode) that can direclty read flv files in avisynth or a standalone codec to use with virtualdub ?

    You'll still need a decoder.
    There's nothing crappy about ffdshow.
