Using Blueray or HD , Converting or Editing

for the last 2 days to search on the net or Forums i didn't find any proper information to doing following is any body help me on this?

i need to cut some secene using blueray technology or HD i'm trying to convert into DV or AVI Format.

You wont find any easy methods to convert bluray or hddvd to anything yet. I would try find another source.
