My HDD recorder has gone a bit wierd with the picture going jumpy (or more tearing/interference) whenever I watch a recording or TV through it. It's fine when there is no sound but as soon as someone talks or there's music on the program it begins to do it.
The colour has also gone way out of whack and is very red. When nothing is playing and it's on the black screen wierd sound comes out of the speakers - sort of like interference, if I turn the tv volume down it's gone so it's obviously something to do with the machine.
If I watch a DVD the colour is still a bit red and there's still the interference in the background but the picture doesn't "tear" like it does if I watch TV or a recording on the HDD, if I burn a recording to DVD and watch it on a different DVD player the DVD recording is fine.
I've tried it on different TV's and that's not the reason.
Any ideas?
