    I have these 3 x .avi movies which i want to join each movie video size are 720 x 480 but 1 is DivX 4 (OpenDivX) and other are DivX 3 Low-Motion how can i change 1st one to DivX 3 Low-Motion

    DivX 3.11? That's a fairly old codec, but it's there in our 'Tools' page under 'codecs'. https://www.videohelp.com/tools/DivX_3.11

    Personally, I would consider encoding them all to Divx 6 or Xvid.

    ok i will convert them all to xvid but never knew there was a divx 6 shows what I know then ok must learn a bit more on this stuff

    I believe Divx 6 is just Divx 5 with menu options, etc. Set up for Divx Ultra DVD players. These changes from the 5.x version:

    * Interactive video menus
    * XSUB™ subtitles
    * Multiple audio tracks
    * Chapter points and more

    I think the latest version is 6.5.1. I tend to use Xvid more often.

    I run into Divx low motion occasionally, but I recall having issues playing it, though VLC seems to work OK. But it depends on what you want to do with the joined file.
