  6. I think what Simps[RG] is doing wrong is extracting the MPEG from the bin/cue via VCDGear which does NOT do SVCD well - I hear BINBUSTER works good

or just do what we did - use CDRWin ..!!

your mistake I think is VCDGear

  8. try clicking the link on the left for the tools section of this website and download the codec to play SVCD. let me know if it worked.

BTW to convert bin to mpg use this... http://www.vcdhelp.com/vcdgeargui.htm
its a pretty simple program and i have never had a screw up from using it. dont trust any newer versions though as the program has developed many flaws as it was developed.
    peace out,

it might be a good idea to grab this version of VCDGear as well. in the past i have helped people correct a myriad of problems by offering this program. for some reason anything after version 2.0 seems to have bugs that dont exist in this earlier version. just some things to watch out for with 2.0 versions and higher are cut off begining or end of the video, garbled audio, and video freezes in the mpg. if you ever have any of those problems and you try the earlier version to extract the mpg from the bin it will work. at least thats been my experience.

  14. HEY! :-) dumwaldo...

I honestly skipped over your post -- he he he

damn -- I though I did that one -- never visit the forums when your really sleepy

you can have my 'score' on that one!

though I had the right idea - he was having problems extracting his bin - I just ASSUMED it was VCDGear he was using and not WinImage :-)

yea yea yea - never assume....

    subtract one for the stinkmeister!

use CD burning software to burn them. i use nero, when i open the program it gives me a list of differnt types of cd to burn. i just select Super VCD and drag and drop the file.

if you look over to the left and click where it says AUTHOR right under HOW TO there are a few guides to using a few other programs as well.

    stinky
