I just downloaded it today for my Vista pc. I only have Microsoft Works on it and thought I'd check out the freebie openoffice. I am impressed! It looks just like Microsoft Office.
Since I'm not in school any more I really don't need an office suite but this looks to be nearly identical to Microsoft Office - at least version 2000 the last one that I used for my home computer. It even has a powerpoint clone!
One thing I do like about it is that gives you an option to export as pdf adobe file! That is great for ultimate compatibility - everybody has the reader program![]()

I like free stuff!
---oh and by the way version 2.2 is VISTA compatible as it is running on my Vista Premium pc ---

Unfortunatly for Hebrew users there is a big issue with it, even with the native version. The best way to show this very weird and yet a bug that should not have even existed, would be like so:
Align the document to the right, change the language to hebrew, then write any word and after it use "?" or any other mark, even a "." and you will see it appears at the wrong side of the word. This sort of bug was fixed in Office over 7 years ago, very frustrating.Email me for faster replies!
