  1. I am about to author a DVD in GUI for DVD author, however, when I drag and drop my film files onto the menu/workspace window, I am met with this pop up:

..The files were encoded with SUPER using the exact same settings I have used with no problems before, so can someone explain what has occured this time?

I am not really sure what ChapEditGFD is either? is it something to do with chapters needing the timecode mentioned above?

Is it important? could the above error mess up the end DVD? GUI for DVD author says its fine to carry on, but I really would appreciate clarification here

    Thanks

When you import a video this is what comes up when you click "visual chapter editor". You use it to select chapter breaks and to make screencaps.

Some videos are incompatible with it (eg, MPEG1) but you can still use them successfully to make your DVD. I think you'd have had a fatal error if your video was bad. The timecodes should be set correctly when it makes the VOBs.
