I have a document on my computer which was emailed to me and which requires my computer signature. Can someone explain how or where I can find software (I guess I need this) in order to be able to sign a document on my computer with my own hand writing. I have never done this so please bear with dumb questions. Thank you very much for your help.
    Thank You,

If it actually requires you hand written signature. The easiest way, would be to print it, sign it, then scan it.

I've had that baloney foisted on me, too; I just go into my font files and find a normal looking script font and type my name with it :0))

The cheapest way, would be the scanner, as mentioned above. And you would most likely find other uses for a scanner.

Otherwise, you will need a tablet. Just look under input devices at newegg.

Either way you end up with a document with your signature.

Thanks guys for the replies, guess I will break down and buy a scanner, any recommendations, something that will scan photos nicely would be nice, but something that would not break the bank either. Look forward to your recommendations. Thank you.

you could also use a digital camera if you already have one...

if you gotta buy a scanner - look around, they are frequently on closeout - mine was $29. Or built in to a new laser printer?:]

    the choice is yours!:]

mine (a MIB Acer Prisma) was on one of those clearance pallets at Office Max. I got it because it had the adapter for slides, was USB, and came with IBM Textbridge OCR. I do mostly OCR with it.

if you use a camera, you can load the shot into a paint program & convert it to a contrasty B&W gif with transparent background...

also, if you google 'animated signature' you will find some folks who will make you a gif that looks like you are actually signing the doc.
