I don't think we need to ban them. Maybe just put a size limit on them.
Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side. -
I could go with a size limit, we already have one for the avatars, why not the sig files?
for me, it depends on the sig - some I like, a couple I don't. most don't rock me either way, pro or con.- housepig

Neways me was gonna change it 2 a smaller one, the one Ive got now is getting bit old. At a later stage though :P Me have half done a smaller one but me couldnt be bothered to finish it, so you have to live with mine for a little bit longer

Sig pics are cool as long as they're not too big. 450 X 50 pixels MAX.

Pixel count means nothing. If you put a 5MB animated gif in your signature that is only 80x80, it is the ame as any large picture. It is a real pain for the dial-up users. Many places have the option of viewing other peoples' signature in your profile. I see we do not have that here.
