Hi, with TMPGEnc MPEG Editor, I find that sometimes, in the output file, the picture will go very blocky for a couple of seconds. It is always very near the end of an input clip. For example:
Frame 11582
Frame 11583
At frame 11598 it goes back to normal. I notice that in the output video, frames 11583 and 11598 are I frames. Maybe this is something to do with the problem, but what is wrong? Is there anything I can do about it?
The input video is fine, and is a DVD compliant MPEG-2.
None of the output settings seem to have an effect - VBR/CBR, image quality, detect changes in re-encoded frames, use key frames as I picture etc. I have also tried the demo of the latest version of the program but it still does the same thing.
Thanks for any help.
