    i am thinking of gettin DVD author 2 or 3 but Im concerned that my tda files from DVD Author 1.6 wont be compatible.
    Can anyone shed any light

    If you mean program files, I use both 1.6 and 2.1 installations on the same system without a problem.

    what im tryin to say is that i have several DVD Author 1.6 project files and i dont think they are compatible with version 2.

    i just got an email from TMPENC that confirms this.
    What a ridiculous decision to create updated versions of the software that does not open the files created with the earlier release.
    Its either greed or stupidity.
