I made a back-up copy of a DVD onto a DVD+R DL and it will play in my computer but not on my Panasonic DVDs29 player. I have an HP DVD640i Burner. From searching this site it looks like my player should play this kind of DVD but it won't. I am wondering if I need a different player or a different burner or if anyone has any suggestions about how to make things work.
Thanks very Much

Isn't that Panasonic a little old? Might just be you need to set the booktype when you burn +R discs.

In addition, if you used RipIt4Me to do the back-up, there is an issue with playback on some Panasonic players. In the RI4M options, you need to UNcheck "Remove Tiny Cells" and "Remove Useless Cells" - they're checked by default. That worked for me for my backup of "Madagascar" and for others with other titles.
