Hey everyone,
so I'm quite new to this setup, but have managed to get things to log and capture just fine in FCP Pro using HDV settings. The camera is currently capturing fine in HD with it's settings in FCP.
However, now I am running into some major problems with the use of Premiere Pro. It is giving me a correct readout of the timecode and there is some device control (over playback, stopping etc) when capture settings are set to Adobe HD-SDI and Device control is set to DV/HDV Device Control. However there is no capturing functionality and it continues to say "Capture Device Offline"...
I'm connecting the camera through a firewire cable into my Dell Precision M65 laptop.
