    Hi

I had a few probs with Mozilla Firefox, so uninstalled and then reinstalled(saved mt bookmarks), now I can't even see images on myspace or many other websites.

Someone suggested that i must uncheck the box under 'load
images' in the tools menu, that says "for the original web site only" - I looked for this BUT there's no option to do this on the newest version of the Firefox I've installed(2007), whereas there was in the old one.

    What can I do?

    Thanks

Do you have any extensions installed that might interfere with the loading of images? (Just thought I'd make sure.) Also, under Tools menu > Options > Content tab, do you have "Load images automatically" checked (you might also want to click the Exceptions button across from it and make sure there aren't any sites listed in the resulting window)?

    This page might help: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_or_animations_don't_load

(URL left in plain text, because the URL tag just isn't working for me, today...)

Basically, the 'load images for the originating website only' option has been moved to the about:config setup.

In Firefox, under Tools -> Options -> Content the default setting for "Load images automatically" is to be checked. Make sure this is checked and forget what you were told. I have this option set on my version of Firefox and I don't have the problem you describe. Under very rare circumstances, a few badly designed web pages look like crap under Firefox (these sites have Internet Explorerisms in them), but I always see photos.

    You're a genius mate!

Went into the system as you advised, reset the link to '1' - hey presto!

    Thanks a million!
