Hi everyone looking for a bit of advice about newsgroup providers...
At the mo I have a 10mbps connection (ntl / virgin) and use www.newshosting.com for premium usenet access. Average speed in newsleecher averages around 5/600 kbps ie around half my bandwidth. Virgin will be upgrading me to 20mbps in a month (thanks guys!) and I would like to find a usenet provider who will let me max out that connection.
Can't find any recent forum posts here or anywhere else to help. All providers talk about 'superfast, unthrottled' etc but no numbers. www.newsdemon.com have an unlimited account allowing 20 simultaneous connections for a reasonable price, will more connections = superfast speed? Any other companies I should look at?
Cheers

Take a look at http://www.giganews.com also. Yes, more connections equals faster downloads, but it also consumes more PC resources. Don't expect to do anything else on your PC if you run 20 simultaneous connections.

Here's a list you can start with
http://www.usenet-provider.com/
Personally, I use usenet.com, but I can't remember the last time I fired up Agent. Not really into upload/downloading stuff like I used to be in the 90's
