    Hi there, i have 3 grandchildren and trying to make a dvd with menus out of their christening and school days, each kid have his/hers AVI Videos and i am thinking of making one dvd but with 3 menus so i can pick which menu to play.

    What do you recommend and which software and codecs to use.

    Ulead Movie Factory is fairly cheap an easy to use. Has a 30 day trial like most software.

    Video files on DVD's with menus are MPEG2, any all in one app like the one I mentioned above will have a MPEG2 encoder.

    If you list the type of files they are you can get some better advice, if you don't know use use G-Spot . Don't laugh... :P
