I'm using sony vegas 7... I'd like to be able to add a counter that will display sequential numbers to highlight 'events' in my video. The events aren't regular, so I'm going to have to mark the time placement. There might be a thousand, so I don't want to make a thousand text items.

For example a video of hiccupping with each hiccup adding to the counter.

Plugin suggestions or workarounds please!!
