Hello, I have a .mkv file and a .srt file and when I play the .mkv file the subtitles do not show. I have the Combine Community Codec Pack and it does work for .avi with .srt, but this is the first time I am using a .mkv with a .srt. Is there anything I can do? I don't know about converting, but would converting the .mkv to a .avi do anything? I had VirtualDubMod, but some unsupport message came up.

    Thank you

External subs should work fine with mkv's. CCCP uses MPC as a player?

thank you celtic you are right, it was the .srt file. Instead of --> it used --> because it was HTML generated. Sorry, to have wasted your time.

    Thank you for your help.
