Hi,
I am rather a newbie. Today I ripped my first dvd with smartripper and convert it to a mpeg file with dvdx. After this I burnt the file with winocd to a VCD.
This VCD I played on my stand alone DVD player (philips). I noticed that there was no dolby digital sound. I think that is not possible with VCD, but I like to be sure. Could you please inform if I am right.
Thnx, Jeffrey
