I got a TiVo for Christmas and connected it to the home network. TV shows can be copied from the TiVo to the computer. And Roxio EZ-Media Creator 9 (what a misnomer) is advertised to burn them to a DVD. Well, it does, albeit very slowly. I wish to remove the commercials first. I have yet to find in Roxio EMC 9 the method to remove commercials. I found "Trim" which will remove all of the TV show except for one certain segment. Someone suggested using VideoReDo to edit the show, then TMPGEnc to burn it to DVD. When I do this, the MPEG looks fine in TMPGEnc preview, but the resulting DVD has very serious audio/lip sync problems. I have tried this with and without using the QSF in VideoReDo. Are there any suggestions to this problem? Basically, I would like to edit the TiVo files, then burn to a DVD. Seems like it would be simple enough....
Thank you.
