I just purchased a DVR for our standard def TV. I believe it has a facility to use a DVD writer to make DVDs. Any recommendations? About $200 limit. Two possibilities are:
Panasonic--multiformat, model DMR-EZ28K. ** 32 reviews Amazon
Panasonic DMR-ES15S DVD (DV input??) **** 113 reviews
Sony, Phillips, ...? I need decent quality but not the best.
Don't need a VCR.
What sort of input should I be looking for? What types are there? How do I know the output type from my DVR?
I'm not interested in Toshiba.
