What's the difference besides the letter and the $5 price raise of the H? I'm thinking about purchasing one or the other and besides my first question I was wondering if people had any suggestions of better drives. I've tried to do as much research as possible before posting a general "WHICH DRIVE IS THE BEST!!!!", which I know everyone hates, but since money is pretty tight right now, I figured I'd ask =)
Seeing how I'm very new to the game and have only tried one type of medium (Memorex, which doesn't seem to be rated well) I was also looking for some good media suggestions.

The only difference between the P and H models is that the H has Lightscribe.
You can't go wrong with Verbatim DVD+R or DVD-R 16x. On sale at BestBuy for $12.99 per 50 this week. Other good drive options are:
Pioneer 111D or 112D - LG H42N - to name a few. Nothing wrong with the LiteOn's you selected other than some reports of noisey drives and vibration. I think recent drives have made improvements in this area according to some reports. -
Thanks man....exactly the information I was hoping for. Much appreciated.

There are mixed reports on the LITEON vibrations and noisey drives. I have a LITEON 18A1P that I flashed with C0deKing's fast patcher firmware. Odd that after flashing the drive it wasn't as noisey.
When I first got the drive it sounded like a airplane taking off.
