This may sound like a stupid question but I think I might have read something about this and cant remember.
Are LCD or Plasma tv unaffected by magnets...i.e. can I put a sub woofer close to one?
I know you definately can't do this with a direct view crt but I thought I read something once about lcd or plasma.
The one in particular I am asking about is a Sharp Aquos LC-46D62U
Thanks.

not a problem unless it is a VERY strong magnet - which could effect some plasmas

So are you saying that it would not be a problem at all with an LCD?
