  1. I use the program ConvertXtoDVD.

So, I just bought me some DVD+RW DVDs. If you need more info I'll post it.

I wrote a few episodes of anime to it to watch on my big screen because I like to watch anime as I go to sleep...

Then my little brother asked for me to make him a DVD of a different series and I told him sure I'd do it for him. Well, I went to go erase the DVD that I had just finished watching and it wouldn't erase. It would SAY it erased but then it wouldn't write. So I opened and closed the drive and it came up with the same thing "Do you want to play this DVD?" I was shocked because it said I had just erased it. So I restarted my computer, etc. and then tried to erase it. Once again it didn't work. If anyone could plesae help me erase this stupid DVD so I can make a new one I'd be very happy

    Thank you,

    ~Xandal

also NTI-CD will erase and it comes with some PC's or burners

be sure you do NOT choose quick erase TOC 'table of of contents' that is only for certain R-W data discs and is not effective on DVD's movie disc

you want complete erase to in order to wipe a DVD movie disc clean

Generally ImageBurn's Quick erase works for me. Sometimes, as when the burn was interrupted, it needs a "Full erase" to sort it out. Nero has similar options.

Very occasionally you get a DVDRW that can't be erased by any means. It just isn't worth the wear & tear on the DVD writer to keep on trying. You may as well chuck it away and buy a new one.
