Is there something about Sony Pictures brands that when files acquired of videos from this company, are converted from widescreen to fullscreen they lose audio sync?
I have tried to do this with two files I acquired that are branded as Columbia/Revolution studios, and, each time after I converted the screen resolution to fullscreen from widescreen, using TMPGEncoder, (avi to mpg,) this has happened. Is it something in the way Sony produces sounds for it's videos, or, is it something in TMPGEncoder, that is doing this?![]()

It's more likely to be an issue with the audio codec used to make the .avi files.
