That's right: What combination do you guys use to convert & burn videos that be fast and easy?
Right now i'm using NeroVision Express 3 and Nero Burning Rom to do the job.

    Peace!

i use NVE to convert .avi to vcd so i can watch the movie on my dvd player it has a built in burner so that's all i have to do.

Is there anything easier and better to create a vcd with titles and menus ? i think NVE is pretty basic but is the only i've used so far, any recommendations ?

Probably not much easier, if you are satisfied with your quality. VCD is fairly limited as far as quality goes. If you want or need to use the CD format, then you might look into the SVCD format. Most DVD videos will take two CDs, but the quality is much better. DVD2SVCD is a good start for SVCD or VCD conversions from DVD format.

A little more complicated, but maybe better quality for VCDs is TMPGEnc encoder. It's free for MPEG-1/VCD use. Then use VCDEasy for authoring to the VCD format. Not freeware, but VCDEasy seems to be the more popular way to generate VCDs.

Yes I would try TEMGEnc as redwudz suggested, and you could also use Ulead's movie factory....for DVd to vcd.....

Oh well, i don't think i need to convert from dvd to vcd, the main idea is to pass anything to vcd but dvd's, i like dvd quality so, i was looking for a tool that'd let me convert from any format to vcd and finally burn it

  7. TMPEGEnc+VCDEasy....as redwudz suggested.

NVE3 is no good as all other NERO products, except for Data Disc burning.
