Hi I'm just new too this forum and I have a big problem by my opinion.
I have a Strong LCD monitor.
The moment you turn on the monitor you have to press te power button and the inactive red light will go green for a couple of seconds.
After this it jumps back to red.
It doesn't matter if I connect a device through one of the inputs (DVI-I, Component,S-video or the regular 3 cable connection don't know the name from my head.)
    Does anyone have any clue?

    Thank you in advance,

    Ilker van den Berg

Sounds like you aren't selecting the right input to your TV.

On your remote, there should be a button labeled "Input" or "Video".

I don't know if your particular TV has an on-screen display that tells you which input is active; some do.
Some TVs will also let you map a given input to a video, like:
    Component->Video3 or Svideo->Video2.
Also, the particular input might have the video designation printed right by it, like:

    Video 3
    (Component)

    Video 2
    (Svideo)

    Hope this makes sense.

many monitors, go black if there is no input signal, your input signal needs to on before you turn on the monitor

if the signal is on and the monitor is shutting down, you have a broken/defective monitor,

time to take it to the shop
