    I got my son a Durabrand DVD-1002 for Christmas, and it's been a headache since the first day. It only plays a few dvd's. For the other 95% of them it says "Bad Disk". Any ideas?

    Commercial discs or burned discs ?

    If it is having this problem with commercial discs you should have taken it back some time ago.

    If the problem is only with burned discs then you may have to look at the brands and formats you are using.
