I'm trying to print to tape my finished FCP sequence. I am using a canon XM2 and trying to output through firewire but the only output option available is: [missing] Apple Firewire PAL (720 X 576). When I click on the options tab nothing happens and I can't seem to change the setting or find any other settings. Can anyone help? I usually author to DVD and have never printed to tape on my home system to my camera.

    Cheers

Google FCP Rescue for your version of FCP and try that.
The fact you can't changes options to me points out
    bad pref files/settings file.

The camera should be on vcr mode and hooked up to the firewire before you start FCP. If FCP doesn't see it then check about this mac under hardware to see if the computer sees the camera. Another program that may see the camera is toast. If the computer doesn't see the camera, you may have a bad firewire port on your camera,
