I'd like to play around with Adobe Audition, and make a music program for the internet. Can I get some suggestions as to which sort of mic and/or hardware I would need to give reasonable quality.
    Thanks

USB mics are really convenient for PCs. The Blue Mic Snowball is a good one -

$150USD and is sold in Canada at Long & McQuade

You'll also want to add dynamic range compression to the final mix to give it that "radio" sound. You can do that either in Audition, or use the free Levelator app to accomplish this. (Google it)

I bought a Blue Snowball on eBay and I can't say enough good things about it. It was about $100 (USD) plus shipping.

BTW, blue makes excellent professional microphones. The Snowball is their first prosumer product.
