  1. I"ve been trying to create a SVCD file using tmpgenc. I have done this previously successfully. But now, using version 2.02.32.119, using the SVCD template, the status line says 480x480 as I expect, but when I view teh resulting mpg file, it turns out to be 720x504 I believe. Any clue what could cause this disparity? Also, the dvd wizards vcd page appears to be down, is there another source for the mpg2 codec for tmegenc to open SVCD files?

If you have Ligos' mpeg2 decode filter, it will enlarge the playback picture to 720x540 so it looks better than an elongated 480x480. You can change that by unchecking "use overlay mixer" in the player properties.

You can check the resolution with bitrate viewer among others.
