  1. I have several flac's all seperate channels, totalling 5.1, they are as follows:

    song_center.flac
    song_frontright.flac
    song_frontleft.flac
    song_rearright.flac
    song_rearleft.flac
    song_sub.flac

How would I merge these into a 5.1 AC3 track?

    Easiest way to do it

    - decode each flac to wav, then feed WAVs into WAV to AC3 Encoder

Oh yes, sorry about that. I'm an Avisynth nut so I'm used to scripting this process.

Download Wavewizard below and create a multichannel audio WAV with your individual WAV files.

    wavewizardv0.54b.zip

There are two Aften options set up for channel mapping, try the other if the first doesn't work for you.

Your files should be in this order L-R-C-LFE-sL-sR

    Hmmm.

Look at the above examples - are your files mono 48000hz ?

  7. yep, that did it. It seems i didnt have the wavs in PCM Mono format...converted to that format, and it merges them beautifully...thanks!
