Hello,...
I have this question. Why does Windows Media Player plays different audio tracks for 2 of my xvid avi file? I encoded 2 dvd to xvid. And both xvid has dual mp2 audio tracks. But when I play file1.avi....Window Media Player plays the audio 2 tracks. But when I play file2.avi..Window Media Player plays audio 1 tracks. So why is that ??
Thanks

WMP should play track 1 by default. However, depending on how you are encoding, you can set which track is the default. Also, if you are using Haali's splitter or something similar, you can set a default language (english for example), and it will automatically choose the appropriate track.
So basically you have to areas to check, your decoder options and your encoding options. You could also try a different player and see what happens.Google is your Friend
