I want to install a new video card and disable the on board video. It's been awhile since I changed a video card and want to make sure I do it right. Is this the correct way
1. Remove old video drivers then shut down.
2. Install new card.
3. Start computer, go into the bios and disable the on board video.
4. Save changes, start Windows Vista, load new drivers.

Suggest step 0. Determine what the old video drivers are, including release date and make sure there is a backup copy in case you need to reinstall them.
Then proceed as listed. -
Thanks I thought that was the right way. I'm using the driver that came in Vista so if needed Vista can reload the driver. I can boot into Windows XP if needed. I'm not going to install the new video card in XP until I get it working correctly in Vista.
