    I'd like to know
Which programs can convert quicktime .mov files to flash video?
    Which one you'd recommend?

    Freeware:
just upload your qt vid to youtube or googlevideo etc etc; the site will do conversion for you for free... then simply download it from there...

    has anyone tried Mux
    or Zamzar?

I heard about these on the DV Show podcast,
was wanting tio know about file size limitations,
    turnaround time, etc?

Great, thanks so much for the replies. I ended up uploading clips to google video, like Derex suggested, and then embedding them

Actually, the best flash video quality you can get is at soapbox
    http://soapbox.msn.com/
I didn't suggest it since msn isn't the most favorite in the world
But to be honest, with all the disrespect to msn, soapbox really converts videos at much better quality than any other site I've seen so far - and it has 1 GIANT advantage over any other flash-video-site: their videos are playable on any PocketPC or SmartPhone running Windows Mobile...
