    I encoded quicktime video in flash 8 using flash encoder. And I can see the video on website, but no audio at all!!!!

    I downloaded Dix codec, but still there is problem. I se MAC OS X what should I do?

    Try convert the quicktime to avi with with mpeg streamclip or quicktime pro and then convert the avi to flash.

    I tried to download quicktime alternative for free, but I can't find download page for MAC OS X. Is there quicktime alternative download for MAC??

    The short answer is no. QT Alternative is for Windows only; no Mac version exists. So, your options are limited. Baldrick's suggestions are good ones -- you should try one of those. Depending on what is inside your QT movie, you may or may not need to buy the $20 MPEG-2 codec from Apple. If the QT movie isn't in MPEG-2, then you can use MPEG Streamclip (free) to convert to avi without having to buy this extra component.
