I am new to this, so excuse please me if this question doesn't fit in this forum.
I am looking for a DVR/PVR that will record off my digital set top box/tv and I would like to wirelessly view the recorded content on my laptop. Is this possible?
I know one can do this vise versa. i.e stream from pc/laptop wirelessly to tv using something like Apple TV.

Possible yes. Probable within a reasonable time at reasonable quality by a noob I'll bet against this month, maybe this quarter.
